What’s the difference between a Bikini Line, Bikini Full and Brazilian? Full Butt or Butt Strip? What’s right for me?

Let us break it all down for you!

Bikini Line

A Bikini Line is the least amount of hair being removed and the easiest service to start with, if the idea of waxing sends you into panic mode. You may leave your underwear on for this service if you prefer, as it’s goal is to only remove hair that would be visible while wearing a swimsuit bottom. We will remove about an inch off the top (if you’re a low rider girlie) and clean up the crease from your pubic area towards your thighs. The norm is about 3-4 finger widths, you can always add on an Inner Thigh if you’d like us to go further.

Bikini Full

This service is basically an extended Bikini Line - we go in further, down lower, as much or as little as you prefer. This could be removing all the hair from the front, leaving behind a landing strip or triangle up top. This service includes a little more exposure as you will need to remove your undies. It includes a little more discomfort as we will be pulling more roots. Most of our clients that prefer this service simply do not want the Butt Strip that is included in the next level up, The Brazilian.

The Brazilian Wax*

This service removes all hair from the pubic mound up top (you can always leave a strip or triangle), the labia's downtown, the sides AND in between your cheeks. It’s basically the first two services we discussed, plus a little more off the back. This is the most exposed you can be in our room, you will be undressed from the waist down, in a butterfly position to start and will pull your knees to your chest for the back (this lasts maybe two minutes tops). If you cannot pull your knees to your chest you can turn on your side and lift your top cheek for us, go on all fours or lay flat on your tummy. None of this means anything to us, but obviously we will need to access the areas where hair is being removed, so prepare yourself to be exposed. The actual waxing portion of a Brazilian Wax lasts about 10 minutes. We do not rush through any services but are conscious that no one wants to be laying on our tables longer than is absolutely necessary.

Let’s switch gears to Rears.

Butt Strip

This service is included with a Brazilian but we have several clients who add it to a Bikini Line or get it as a stand alone. This is removal of hair in between your butt cheeks. We hear a lot of women say, “but(t) I don’t have hair in between my butt cheeks. Do I?” As much as you probably don’t want to hear this, if you are a human person, you have hair in between your cheeks. It may not be a lot, but it’s there.

Full Butt

A step up from the Strip is the Full Butt Wax. This removes hair from your actual meaty cheeks as well as in between. Yes, women can and do grow hair on their butt cheeks. A lot of times it is very lightly colored and feels like peach fuzz. For some of us it is darker and thicker. We all have our crosses to bear and in the grand scheme of life, a little butt cheek hair isn’t really that big of a deal. If you have it and it bothers you, we can help. If you add this service on to a Brazilian, we charge less than the posted amount because we aren’t going to double charge for the Butt Strip that is already included.
