💕Hard Wax vs Soft Wax: What’s the Difference (and Which Is Better for You)?

If you’ve ever looked at your esthetician’s setup and wondered, “What’s the difference between hard wax and soft wax?” — this one’s for you! 💡

At Bare Beauty Wax Studio, we use both types depending on the area and skin type. Here’s how they compare, so you can understand what’s going on down there 👀

💜 Hard Wax (Our Fave for Brazilians!)

Hard wax is the star of the show for sensitive areas like your bikini, underarms, and face.

✅ It sticks to hair, not skin, so it’s gentler and less painful
✅ It doesn’t require strips — it hardens and lifts off on its own
✅ Great for sensitive or reactive skin

We use pre-wax oil from The Lady Peng to make it glide perfectly and give you the smoothest finish ever. ✨

💗 Soft Wax (Best for Larger Areas)

Soft wax is typically used on arms, legs, or backs.

✅ It’s applied thinly with a strip
✅ Great for removing fine or shorter hairs
✅ Leaves skin extra smooth and exfoliated

It’s fast and efficient — perfect for big areas when you’re short on time.

💋 Which One Is Right for You?

At Bare Beauty, we often use a mix!
Hard wax where you’re sensitive, soft wax where you’re not. It’s all about giving you the best experience possible — minimal redness, max results.

Come on in and test out both types of wax!
